As always, needed this one. Thank you. And also, gonna go find myself a copy of Ruby Finds a Worry because perhaps that’s exactly what I need right now. ❤️

Perfect timing, we’ve had a crazy start to the summer, and all normalcy flew out the window. Love the perspective that this is just one season and it will pass. Those book recommendations are look so fun. Thanks

I’m going to get a bit woo-woo in hopes it helps someone - all taught to me by my amazing yoga teacher Marni Sclaroff. Consistency and routine are part of the Earth element. Connect back to nature, walk barefoot, stones, plants, flowers. Emotions are Water element. Let them flow. Water element is also intuition. What are your tears trying to tell you? Summer is the Fire element. Transformation. Try a fire burning ritual to release what doesn’t serve you. Going around in circles, ruminating, your head, that’s the Air element. Get out of your and into your body through movement, mobility, touch.

I’m sorry you’re in a hard season, and thank you for the reminder. This summer has been a rollercoaster so far and we’ve been doing way more running around than I’d like...and playing way more iPad games too 😅

Sarah, here's hoping your difficult season comes to an end (or at least eases up) sooner rather than later. I had a good laugh about "Zoom" not being what I first thought and I love Ruby Finds a Worry. It's so easy to find worries... wish that weren't the case.

I’m sorry to hear about your slump. Whenever I get like this, I think it’s the new me and then I start to panic. But I always come out of it and can make more sense of it after it’s over. It’s good that you recognized it, are feeling it, and are moving through it. This, too, shall pass. ❤️

I'm with you, Sarah. I'm majorly struggling to focus. My mental load is heavy. My reading is slow and my writing is slower (and sloppier). I hope you break out of the fire soon! Great post as usual, despite it.
