I loved The Borrowers as a kid, and I still fantasize about making miniature items to gift to the family that I imagine lives in the walls of my house!

Wow, having major flashbacks! I loved the Borrowers, and there was also this one called The Doll People by Ann M. Martin that I ADORED and had the whole series of. That was one of my biggest rereads ever as a kid!

Can The Borrowers still be purchased?

Oh yeah — it’s been reprinted a ton of times. It can be easily bought online or at any bookstore — it’s still super popular.

Oooh, just ordered The Borrowers and the E.E. Cummings books. I adore Winnie the Pooh. My dad read it to me as a child and I wouldn't let him read the last chapter because I sensed what was going to happen (Christopher Robin putting away his toys). I've yet to read it, but perhaps my kids will let me read the entire book to them? There is one way to find out...

Your note about wondering if you were a small person in a giant's world reminds me of the Taylor Swift song "Anti-Hero":

Sometimes I feel like everybody is a sexy baby

And I'm a monster on the hill

Too big to hang out, slowly lurching toward your favorite city

I digress and now you have insight into what we've been listening to this summer.
