That Elephant Sneezing book looks right up our alley!! Also, my littlest loves how the moon “follows” us wherever we go whenever we are out, and books that remind you of a beloved family member are always so heart wrenching! Thanks for the round up!
Hazel's Amazing Mother! YES! I am sure you first introduced me to this book and I just love it. I, too, fantasize about sticking up for my children (though I hope never to have to) and Hazel's mother (obviously) does not disappoint. We also really love Rosemary Wells' Yoko books and Voyage to the Bunny Planet. The illustrations are a bit odd in her work, which somehow makes them all the more endearing?
Max and the Tag-Along Moon 🥹 even little Olivia loves this one and point’s to Max’s Grandpa and says “Appa.” Her word for Grandpa. It gets me every time.
We are Rosemary Wells stans in our house! Just placed a hold on Hazel's Amazing Mother 🥰
It's such a good one.

Wally Tripp! Love his book illustrations and especially greeting cards.
This is the only time I've ever been exposed to him... I have to dig deeper!
I think he lived very close to the town where I grew up - bit of a local angle with his "Pawprints" greeting card line!
Interesting!
The illustration of the elephant sneezing ☺️
The elephant book was one of my favorites as a kid!
