I've found the (How) Can we read articles super helpful but it's great to see all these resources in one place, especially as our reading journey is constantly evolving.

A resource you might like (that I really must get around to posting about....hello Drafts pile!) is Book Trust https://www.booktrust.org.uk/ a UK charity that gets books in to schools and to low-income families. They curate various lists, including a Top 100 Great Books. I really rate their recommendations.

I’m so grateful for this Substack community of people writing about raising readers and books for children. I love everyone’s perspective and that every family can take what they need that works for them. Because even the “research backed best practices” don’t work for everyone all the time. We are humans, not robots.

Cheers to everyone doing the hard and magical work of raising the next generation of thoughtful, creative thinkers (also known as readers 🥰)!!
