Grabbing At the End of the Day from the library and planning to order Farm Boots for my sister and her Texan, ranch-loving family—seems perfect for my twin almost 1 year old nephews! Thanks for introducing us to Lisl!

Thank you Sarah for this lovely post and interview! I absolutely loved discovering Lisl's work through your own perspective. It is such an interesting initiative to try and promote Wisconsin-based children's authors. There are so many wonderful children's books out there that really deserve to be widely known. You inspired me to try and do the same in the Fenlands area where I live. (It is a part of the UK located between Cambridgeshire and Norfolk, largely forgotten nowadays, but very rich in storytelling and folklore.) As always, I'll be looking forward to your next post! Hope you have a lovely day.

All these titles are so beautiful and I LOVE reading authors’ origin stories. Thank you for sharing; I’m particularly excited for Still There Was Bread. Fall and my favorite food? Take all my money!
