Great interview Sarah. I always enjoy learning more about authors and the books they write. I am in the same place with my "holiday gift newsletter". I had every intention of doing one. I began "collecting" gift ideas a couple of months back. I just can't bring myself to dig in and put it together. I had no idea how long a post like this would take to write and I just don't have the time. Maybe next year.

Great interview. There’s something really mindful and calming about kids books. Grappling with emotions and confronting them with kindness is something authors of kids books are brilliant at. My 7-year old has opened my eyes to quite a wonderful collection of titles.

Thank you! And I fully agree about the calming factor of children’s books — I’m often surprised at how they affect *me* in that way, not to mention my 5 and 7yo.
