We got Sato the Rabbit from the library this week and (so far, at least) it is the best children's book I've read this year! It is also maybe the best "children's book but adults can also enjoy it" I've read. It feels like David Lynch and Haruki Murakami collaborated to write children's books together!
Congrats on such a big milestone! I'm super new to Substack, just started my own a month ago, but have really enjoyed reading yours and gaining more insights into great literature for my own kids. Thanks for taking the time to share each week!
