How do you always come up with such incredible lists?! And “Love Is” is my current favorite. Can’t wait to surprise my kid with it for Valentine’s Day!

Oh yes! That’s such a good one — I need to add it to my list/review it because I love it, I just always forget about it.

Library requests submitted! Thank you as always for helping me get a jump start on Valentine's Day, which may be my favorite holiday. Love the colors, love the theme, love making everything heart-shaped. I'm here for it.

Wild Honey from the Moon is one of our family all-time favorite reads. Glad to see it on the list.

Yes! I reviewed that one two years ago, I think? I love the mama’s determination.

What a great list! I’m a huge fan of Berger (When the Sun Rose is a perennial favorite) but hadn’t heard about this book. Off to the library to see if I can get my hands on it!

I have been obsessed with Berger for years -- she's so underrated. The Jewel Heart is just as weird and wonderful as her other titles.

LOVE these recommendations. Especially want to check out the first two you mentioned. I’m going to see if my library has them!

I read “Love in the Library” a couple of months ago and, as a Japanese American—phew. It was precious and sad and lovely.

Oh! And “Hug Machine”! I haven’t known anyone else who is aware of this book. It was a thrifted find and a sweet one at that. 🤗

Hug Machine makes me laugh out loud. And yes, whew to Love in the Library. Opposite ends of the spectrum, those two.
