I can tell right now one of them is definitely Jamberry by Bruce Degen. It was one of the first board books my eldest brought to me over and over and OVER to read, and the thing that amazes me is that we STILL read it, and my children are now 4 and 6. It's hard for me to think of another book that has had that kind of appeal over all the years and ages. I mean, it's wonderful -- it's so, SO fun to read, which may be part of it (I fully believe kids enjoy reading when YOU enjoy reading to them) -- but it didn't know it was going to have such staying power.
