Good morning! Happy Tuesday. I hope it is happy wherever you are.

No Flying in the House by Betty Brock
Making Friends with Frankenstein by Colin McNaughton
The Princess and the Moon by Daisaku Ikeda
Stories from the Silk Road by Cherry Gilchrist
Starry Tales by Geraldine McCaughrean
Storm Run: The Story of the First Woman to Win the Iditarod Sled Race by Libby Riddles
Wishes by Muon Thi Van
All the Ways to Be Smart by Davina Bell
The Fort by Laura Perdew
I love, love, love this HuffPost list of Children’s Books That Feature Characters With Disabilities — there are so many good titles on here I found myself saying, “Oh, yes!” over and over as I read through it. Hello Goodbye Dog by Maria Gianferrari; Just Ask! Be Different, Be Brave, Be You by Sonia Sotomayor; Thank You, Mr. Falker by Patricia Polacco. Also some of our beloveds, two of my all-time favorites for toddlers: Happy in Our Skin by Fran Manushkin and Mama Zooms by Jane Cowen-Fletcher (I reviewed the latter in issue No. 2). I will admit that there were more books here that I don’t know than ones that I do — my library hold list grew a bunch, which is the way I like it 📚
Which books have your attention lately? What are you loving? I always enjoying hearing what you’re reading to your kids/with your family…
Read good books and take good care 😘
