Hello, lovely people.
I’ve nothing to say up here today — and probably won’t for awhile because I’ve got some serious Stuff Going On, which I wrote about last week, to give you an idea of what you can expect from me in the coming months — but here’s a special glance at my weird facial expressions (and some extra book recommendations for Christmas 😊)
Harry Potter and the Sorceror’s Stone by J.K. Rowling (my husband is reading this to our kids on the nights he puts them to bed and I can’t tell how it’s going — I told him not to pick this book; he picked it anyway, and everyone seems confused)
The Yule Tomte and the Little Rabbits: A Christmas Story for Advent by Ulf Stark (I thought this might be the year my 9 and 7yo outgrew this one, but they made it abundantly clear that was crazy talk, when I asked, which is fine by me)
Wish by Barbara O’Connor (this is our current audiobook in the car)
Monday’s Troll by Jack Prelutsky (our current poetry at bedtime)
Video roundup!
Titles mentioned today:
Santa in the City by Tiffany D. Jackson, illustrated by Reggie Brown
Merry Christmas, Red Truck by Kersten Hamilton, illustrated by Valerie Petrone
Red & Lulu by Matt Tavares

I’m so curious why the confusion with HP#1! Also, prayers for your mom 💛💛💛 you’re so good.
Oh, Sarah! I am so, so sorry to hear about your mother but also so happy she is alive and that you are able to be there with her. I will be holding her in my prayers in the time to come.
