Enjoying my weekly ritual of opening your newsletter in one tab, and my public library's website in another. <3

This was lovely to read after my rainy walk to work, umbrella in hand and rain boots on my feet.

I'm doing a bug event at my library next month and bug poems might be the perfect thing for it!

Thank you. You did remind me to wonder why Patricia Polacco has never won a Caldecott or Newberry Award for illustrations or writing. Rechenka's Eggs is one of many books of such high quality. Thank you for lifting it and her up.

Beautiful spring book list! As Madam Finance, these stories of rain, blooms, eggs & new growth are perfect for planting early seeds of patience, care & smart habits that bloom into strong teen financial skills.

I’m J. Allen, an indie author and school counselor.

I came across your page and really connect with what you’re putting out into the world.

I write The Katrina Calm Series — a coming of age series following a girl named Katrina through middle and high school as she navigates anxiety, bullying, and friendship, with real coping strategies woven into the story. The series is available on Amazon, and both books have audiobooks on Audible too.

I’d love for you to check them out!

Great list! Just wish I still had children to read these books to. Mine have sadly all grown up . . .

I love that your about page points to building a culture of reading in the home. So vitally important . . . thank you!

I love this! I work in a children's bookstore and When Spring Comes has been flying off the shelves. Have you come across these seasonal books by Alice Hemming? They are absolutely wonderful: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thats-MY-Flower-brilliantly-creators/dp/0702322458

"And may you notice something, anything, that changes the way you see everything."

Now THAT is one big magical wish!! (I shall keep a sharp eye out.)

Always enjoy your children's book reviews. Love the BUGS cover, and Rechenka’s Eggs sounds like my kinda mystical!
