For no other reason than the fact that I am truly grateful you are a subscriber to this newsletter, I am doing a surprise giveaway.

There is nothing you have to do in return. I repeat: there is nothing you have to do in return.

To enter, simply reply to this email with the age/s of the child/ren in your life — ostensibly ones to whom you would like to gift a book — and either what their common interests are (e.g., three kids all into art; one child obsessed with cactus; etc.) or what you are looking for in a children’s book for them. I will draw one name on Sunday, November 29 using the futuristic and scientific technology known as “my six-year-old pulling it out of a paper bag.” Then I will hand-pick a title for the winner, buy it, and mail it to you all at my expense.

No strings. No following me on Instagram. No even asking you to share this newsletter with someone (though of course I would love for you to do that, if you so choose). Just me wanting to share my passion, show a little love. That’s it.
